Each candidate will be scored by the judges on 10 criteria. The candidate with the highest aggregate score will be nominated the Risk Manager of the Year^®. And the Risk Management Honor Roll^® will comprise the next highest scoring candidates. 

Winners will be announced on BusinessInsurance.com in February and profiled in the April 11 issue of Business Insurance. The awards presentation will take place April 12 during the Risk & Insurance Management Society’s annual conference and exhibition in San Diego.

The deadline to submit the Part II nominations is Monday, February 1, 2016 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The Risk Manager of the Year Award^® and Risk Management Honor Roll^® are presented by Crain Communications Inc.’s Business Insurance, the newsmagazine for corporate risk, employee benefits and financial executives.

The Risk Manager of the Year Award^® was created in 1977 to increase recognition of the risk management profession and to recognize outstanding performance in the practice of risk management. The first award was presented in 1978. The Risk Management Honor Roll Awards were introduced in 1983 to recognize other exceptional risk managers.
